Hi there! This site is currently in beta, so please be patient as we kill a few bugs.

Every year, students from the Kansas Board of Regents’ Universities travel to Topeka for Higher Education Day to meet with State Legislators for a day and advocate for issues at their universities. Each university can take up to 15 students. These students will be paired with legislators from their home or college district, and will advocate for the issues laid out in their agenda packets. The agenda items for this year were determined by the Student Advisory Committee of the Board of Regents and are as follows:
1. Restoration of base funding for higher education institutions
2. Mental health funding
3. A statewide affirmative consent policy
