Waivers can be granted to organizations on-campus that increase the involvement and education of students attending Fort Hays State University, who are not approved by the Student Organizations Committee. This waiver allows such organizations to receive funds from the Student Activity Fee. The President of the Student Government Association has the option to approve a waiver and submit that approval to the Student Senate for ratification. Waivers for the Allocations process must be submitted to the SGA office prior to the February 15, 2016 final deadline. The granting of a waiver is not guaranteed, as it is subject to approval and ratification.
