Christopher Roberts is a junior at Fort Hays State University, majoring in Justice Studies. Before attending FHSU, he was a graduate of Salina Central High School which is located in Salina, Kansas. First recruited to the Student Senate as a freshman to represent constituents of the College of Arts and Sciences; he had the opportunity to serve as a member of the Allocations Committee, Senate Affairs Committee, and Appropriations Committee. Last year, Chris was appointed to the executive staff as Legislative Affairs Director. He helped coordinate Higher Education Day at the Capitol, expand the community service cooperative “The Big Event”, and promote the political interest of the student body at the local, state, and federal levels of government.
Chris now serves as Chair of the Students’ Advisory Committee, which is comprised of all the student body presidents of public institutions and advocates the pursuits and interests of students to the Board of Regents and other entities.
In his free time, Chris’ enjoys yard games, keeping up with politics and some Call of Duty with his friends.
